Mason ran down the hallway of the hotel as he headed for Lewis' room. He would've expected the kid to be awake by now, but assumed that since today's match started later than yesterday's, the kid may have decided to sleep in. While Mason could understand wanting extra rest, especially with how sleepless Lewis must be, why of all days did the kid have to rest when something like THIS would happen?

By the time Mason made it to Lewis' private hotel room, he stopped in his tracks, surprised at what he saw before him. Just outside of the room was C-13, sitting in the middle of the hallway. The robot was just staring at the ground as if he was sleeping himself. Mason raised his eyebrow at the machine inquisitively.  "...C-13?" Mason called out, tilting his head.

The robot almost immediately shot his head up and turned to Mason, his eyes glowing a surprised white. The moment he jerked his head, the gears in his neck let out an intense squeak of metals struggling together, prompting Mason to cover his ears out of reflex. "...Ah, Mason..." C-13 said with a tired voice as he lifted himself back onto his feet, which, for a robot as rusty as he was, would be quite a struggle. The moment the machine was back to standing on his two feet, his head hit the ceiling. He let out a grunt and hunched over a bit, rubbing his metallic cranium to make sure there was no damage.

Mason crossed his arms and let out an amused chuckle at C-13's expense. "...Careful, you don't want to get sued by the hotel manager."

C-13 glared back at Mason, his eyes reddening ever so slightly. "...What are you doing here?"

Mason shrugged. "I could ask you the same thing." He eyed the robot, noticing that the burn that appeared after being struck by the fireball was still present. "...Why are you sitting outside of Lewis' room? Shouldn't you be taking up space somewhere else?"

C-13 just shook his head at Mason and gestured to the door he was in front of. "What do you think? I was making sure that Lewis stayed safe."

Mason gave an understanding nod and scratched his chin. "I see, I see. Gotta be the bodyguard I guess. Anyways, if you could please..."  he walked toward the hotel room door, only to be shoved back by C-13. He was surprised at the robot's action as he made sure not to fall back. "...What?"

C-13 didn't answer, only crossed his arms while continuing to glare daggers at him.

"...Ah...don't trust me." Mason let out an irritated sigh. While he always took care not to break out of his polite facade, he still had no patience for a robot's stubbornness. "...Very well, why don't you knock for me?" he continued in his usual polite manner.

C-13 rolled his eyes and knocked on the door, trying his best not to shove it open with his abnormal strength.

It was around 8:50 A.M. when Lewis was awoken by a loud series of knocks on his hotel room door. He tried his best to wake himself up, but considering how late he stayed up last night to plan out the next match, breaking free of his drowsiness was the last thing he could do. Nevertheless, the teenager tried his best to shuffle himself out of bed, only to fall off the side and face-plant directly into the ground with a loud thud. "Oof!"

"Lewis?!" C-13's voice could be heard from the other side of the door. "I heard a thud in there! Are you alright?!" He called out concerned.

Ignoring the robot's panicked shouting from outside, Lewis slowly picked himself up from the ground. He rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms as he yawned, attempting for a second time to wake himself up. "Yeah...Yeah, C-13, I'm okay...just fell off the bed."

The panic in the robot's voice died down. "Oh thank god... Anyways, Mason's here to talk to you."

"Hm? Mason...?" Curiosity helping the teenager regain some of his consciousness, he walked over to the door and opened it.  Just outside his room were both members of his team, C-13, at the forefront, and Mason not too far behind. "...Guys...what is it?"

"Well..." Mason started, squeezing quickly passed C-13 as he entered the room.

C-13, not expecting Mason to suddenly enter with Lewis' permission, tried to grab and pull him back out, but was too slow. "H-hey! You can't just--"

"You see," Mason interrupted the robot as he continued talking to Lewis. "there I was, waking up at my usual time, planning to go on a short morning walk to take in the sights..." He trailed off as he walked over to a window that was obscured by its drapes. "When suddenly, what did I see?" Mason moved the curtains aside to show to both Lewis and C-13 something neither of them would've ever expected to see.

Just outside the window, rather than the Sarun they've come to know in the past couple of days, was an entire landscape that was a child's dream come true. There were roads made of chocolate, balloons and confetti flying through the air, a ball pit where the arena should be, a bounce house the size of an actual castle, and much much more. Neither Lewis or C-13 could find the words to express their shock, but one thing was for sure: Lewis was now completely awake.

"Wh-what...?" Lewis said in complete surprise, almost entranced by the landscape just outside his window. He walked over resting his hands against the window sill as he looked at all the childish fun going on outside.. "How...how did this happen?"

Mason leaned against the wall right next to Lewis and shrugged. "I don't know, they just announced in the lobby that we'll be having having our match anywhere in Sarun as long as it STAYS in Sarun. They didn't give much of an explanation as to how this happened."

"I see..." Lewis said as he gazed out at all that was going on, particularly a group of children who were playing around in ice cream that was snowing down in an area not too far from the hotel. Even from his window Lewis could hear their cheers of glee as they ran around in the new wonderland that laid before them. "...They seem to be having so much fun..." The teenager couldn't help but smile a bit at the children as he watched them play.

Both Mason and C-13 gave a questioning look to Lewis, hearing a hint of sentimentality in his voice. "...Lewis... are you alright?" C-13 asked with obvious concern.

Upon hearing the robot, Lewis immediately snapped out of his trance and jerked his head away from the window. "A-ah! sorry!" Struck with a new interest in the child-like wonderland outside the hotel, Lewis began slowly inching his way to the door. "Um...we should probably go find our opponents. Mason, you checked who they were, correct?"

Mason nodded slowly at Lewis, noticing the kid's impatience. "...Yup, they call themselves 'Team Steam Junk'."

Having now heard the name of their opposing team, Lewis immediately ran to the door, only to stop for a quick moment to look back at C-13. "I-I'll run up ahead! You guys...err... can catch up once I find them...yeah!" He ran down the hall, out of sight as quickly as possible.

" L-Lewis! Wait!" C-13 tried to go after him the moment he started running, but slowed down to a walk when he realized he'd never catch up. "...What's got that kid so excited?"

Mason was just leaning against the side of the doorway, watching C-13 as he left. "Hm...I wonder..." Now alone in Lewis' room he took a second to look at it, noticing a drawer next to the bed, slightly open. "...Hm..."
